Katherine Chi

Katherine is a Pre-Med student studying Sociology and English at Bowdoin College. Katherine was raised by a single mom working 80 hours a week to support their family, and she is the first in her family to attend college. Katherine says she hopes to "better society in the future and pass on the same generosity others have shown me. I am grateful to have had such wonderful experiences volunteering and working with children." Katherine tutors Nico, the daughter of American Dream Clean employee Tim Sanchez, and Katherine's incredible work has helped Nico make huge strides: "Nico has flourished  and is an excellent student both in and outside of the classroom."
